Raids in DHA Karachi netted 34 suspects (15 foreign nationals) and over 10,000 SIM cards. Victims were lured to fake investment portals that displayed fake profits before their money vanished.

Modern tools can clone a voice from as little as 3 seconds of recording. Scammers copy a relative's voice from social clips and call asking for urgent money — always verify on a known number.
